Who is responsible?

Popcorn Do is published by Guillaume Bailleul, the controller of your data. For any question: guillaume.bailleul@gmail.com.

What the app stores

• What you write: your ideas, your tasks and their small steps, your priorities, your time slots, your machines (projects) and their colors.
• Your account: a technical identifier provided by Apple or Google when you sign in and, depending on what you allow, your name and email address.
• Technical settings needed for syncing (for example the date of the last sync).

Popcorn Do doesn’t need any health data. If you write some yourself in an idea or a task, it is protected like everything else: you decide what you enter.

Where it is stored

On your device first: everything is saved locally, the app works offline.

A copy in Europe: when you’re signed in, your data is synced to a database hosted by Supabase in Frankfurt (Germany). Exchanges are encrypted (HTTPS) and each account can only access its own data.

Beta sign-up

If you sign up for the beta from this site, we store your email address, the type of device you indicate (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android or other) and the language of the site you were viewing. This information is only used to send you your TestFlight invitation and beta news in your language, and to know which devices are most requested. It is stored with Supabase (Frankfurt), cannot be read from the site, and is never resold.

It is kept until the end of the beta phase, and at most 12 months after you sign up. To be unsubscribed or erased sooner, write to us: guillaume.bailleul@gmail.com.

Your calendar

If you allow it, Popcorn Do reads the appointments in your calendar to show them next to your popcorns. This reading happens only on your device: these appointments are never sent to our servers. You can withdraw the permission at any time in your system settings.

What we don’t do

• No advertising.
• No audience-measurement tool or third-party tracker in the app.
• No sale or transfer of your data.
• No diagnosis requested, and none inferred from how you use the app.

Who is involved in processing

• Supabase: hosting of the database and authentication (region: Frankfurt).
• Apple and Google: only for signing in, depending on the service you choose.

How long

Your data is kept as long as your account exists. When you sign out, the app first backs everything up, then clears your phone. To delete your account and the associated data, write to us: guillaume.bailleul@gmail.com.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, its rectification, erasure or portability, or object to its processing. Write to us: guillaume.bailleul@gmail.com. If you believe your rights are not respected, you can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL: cnil.fr).

Who it is for

Popcorn Do is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data about children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the update date below changes with it, and the app will notify you of any important change.
